#RebelliousWriting

          Hi, guys. Many of you probably read my last post Dear Writers,and many of you know that in it I stated that I was “rebelling” against the normal book standards of having characters have sex, swearing, glorifying drug and alcohol abuse, etc. And that I also invited everyone to join me. Well, in the comment section a few other bloggers and I agreed that we should try to make to this into a movement. And I am here today inviting you, as a teenage reader, writer, or even as an adult to join us.

        Rebellious writing. Rebellious not because we are disobeying our parents, but because we are, in fact, obeying them and going against the norm. Today it is beyond common for books to have explicit language and scenes. And it is beyond common for the media to broadcast their message that this is okay and that this is perfectly normal. When it isn't, or it shouldn't be. And we can change that. Together as bloggers, writers, readers, homeschoolers, non-homeschoolers, Christians, even non-Christians, and just people in general, together we can do this.

         #RebelliousWriting is a movement that demands for wholesome books. Books that are full of light, good morals, family, friendships, and adventures, instead of books full of darkness, swearing, sex, vile relationships, and lust. Let's rebel against the social book standards that scream at us to fit in, in order to be cool or relevant.

         I want to see rants about this, blog posts about this, social media posts about this. Whatever we can do to get the word out there. And obviously, I will be doing more posts on this topic and I want you to join me.

       Maybe some of you want to join, but you don't know how, here are a few ideas:

1. Write a post listing all the good clean books you love with the #RebelliousReading

2. Write a post warning people against bad books also including the #RebelliousReading

3. Write a post/rant about why we need good books with the #RebelliousWriting

4. Write a post/rant against bad books with the #RebelliousWriting

5. Write a post about why you are rebelling against normal book standards with the #RebelliousWriting
