ONE YEAR OF BLOGGING
Wow.
What a year. When I first got permission to blog, I remember logging on, hastily picking a random theme, and typing out my first post ever. (I actually made another blog just like my very first blog look, laugh at me here, and Ivie, this is counting as my first post revisited XD).
My hands shook when I wrote that first post. I didn’t even know why, it wasn’t like I was going to get more followers than the three people that I knew in real life that blogged, right?
Wrong! I am so happy I was wrong. Blogging has been a whirlwind of emotions, I quickly realized as time went on that I had no idea what I was getting into when I first pushed that ugly publish button.
I’ve made so many great friends and acquaintances, and I have connected with some amazing people (a.k.a. you guys!) I honestly don’t want to imagine what life would be like if I didn’t know you guys on here, and I know that sounds sappy, I’m sorry, but it’s true.
Thank you all so, somuch for everything. Thank you for reading my ramblings. Thank you for leaving comments. Thank you for sending me encouraging emails. Thank you for being a wonderful friend. Thank you.
I’ve learned more about myself than I imagined possible this year, and a lot of it is because of this blog and you lovely people.
….I’m not crying, nope, not at all.
Gosh, this blog has also turned me into a softie….
*cue awkward transition because I have no idea how to change the mood*
ANYWAYS, ONTO THE LESS SAPPY STUFF, LIKE THE WINNER OF HEARTLESS!!
It is….
*drumroll*

AND A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ELSE WHO READS THIS BLOG! Y'all are awesome, it means so much to me, thank you, thank you, thank you!
So, I know some of y'all are probably wondering when I'll run out of content (I know I am!) and I still have a few ideas, which include...
A possible interview/Q&A with a guy.
I've been thinking of doing something like this for a while, since I've noticed that a lot of guy characters seem a little two-dimensional in YA, and I know that more than half of my readers are female (sorry guys, y'all are a minority here!) so I was thinking that since guys can be confusing to us gal writers, that perhaps y'all would have some questions to ask a guy in the name of writing?
I can drag a guy friend into this, I'm sure, I just need to know if any of you have questions and are interested.
Possibly more controversial book reviews.
I really enjoyed reviewing The Hate U Give and I don't mind reading books that most Christians would stray away from if it's in the name of rating it honestly and according to my standards. I've been thinking about reviewing Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu (a super feminist book) on here, if anyone's interested. And whatever else pops into my mind!
Another heart to heart post. One of my favorite posts I've ever written is Being Real, because I broke out of my usual happy posts and was completely honest about my struggles. I've been having a hard time with life right now. Here is actually a picture for the non-existent post:
I don't know if I'll ever post it though, I don't even know if I can capture my feelings in words. I also don't want to burden anyone with my problems or more depressing thoughts, although I hope to put a positive spin on it like last time...
Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.💖
To many more years to come,
