YES, GUYS, I AM TAKING PART IN JULIAN'S AMAZING FIVE PART WRITING SPECIAL.
She hosted this last year, and although I didn't join in I thought it was pretty cool, so I am very hyped for joining in on the fun this year!

Although my WIP is barely even an outline, I am hoping this will help me grasp my idea better, as well as give anyone who is curious about Of Broken Things and Paint Splatterings more details!
My cover, made by Anna:
A 1-3 paragraph blurb of your WIP
I probably need to write it before I release an official blurb, sorry! (first question and I'm already cheating the rules... XD )
Describe your WIP in ten short phrases.
Dreams of the impossible. Hope for the hopeless. Seeking light in dark places. Searching for redemption. A road trip. Hopes, fears, dreams, and doubts collide. Fixing what is broken. Discovering the truth. Tears staining cheeks. Sunshine filtering through windows.
How did you come up with the idea of your story?
I just thought of the name Piper, and then I found myself picturing a naïve girl with a passion for life and art, who was thrown into the darker part of the world in order to try to save someone she loved.
Why did you choose to write this WIP? What gave it priority over all the other plot bunnies?
I guess mainly because it is a story about hope in harder places, and that is a message I, myself, needs right now.
How did you go about preparing to write it?
How am I preparing to write this? I am taking a break sort of until summer, but I have been outlining on paper.
Did you have to do any research for this story? What was the most interesting/funny story connected with your research?
Yes, I've been researching possible sicknesses/conditions for Piper and Alex's mother.
Uhh, my classmates think I'm a psychopath because I know too much about chemicals and dying, but what else is new?!?
Was this story easy or hard to write? Why?
It's been pretty hard grasping the basic plot of this story, because this is way more complex than anything I've ever written so far.
Where was your favorite place to write this story?
My room!
What makes your story unique?
I'm not sure yet. ;D
What do you love most about your story?
My second main character, Josh.
I try not to play favorites but... the heart wants what it wants...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

YAY! Part one is done!!! Come back here next Friday to read about my world's setting (hopefully I can give more detailed answers then).
Tell me about your WIP!
Are you following the other bloggers participating? (You should, they're awesome peeps)!
Happy Writing,

Also, I was technically suppose to wait until the last week for the aesthetics, but how could I resist? Besides, I have A LOT more aesthetics so the aesthetic week will be fine. ;D
