The Shared WIP Tag // week four: questions on side characters and world building

I'm sorry if this week's answers feel half-hearted, I'm really really tired.

1. List your SC’s, state one of their main hobbies, and tell us how they influence your MC in the story.

Kavya loves fashion, and the theater/acting.

She is very optimistic and helps the main characters (Piper and Alex) look on the bright side of things, she's also very supportive.

2. Who is the SC that is the closest to your MC?

Kavya is probably the closest to both Piper and Alex. Josh is a loner type and doesn't really trust anyone.

3. How do your SC’s act around people they don’t know?

Kavya acts like everyone she meets is her best friend, she is crazy extroverted and friendly.

4. What conflict do they add to the story (disagreeing with the MC, perhaps)?

She disagrees with Piper's plan and blames herself for not stopping Piper from running away.

5. Would your MC die for any of them? What about vice versa?

Yes. Piper and Kavya have been best friends since sixth grade and are very close.

6. If you were writing books about your SCs, what might the books be like?

Hmmm, maybe figuring out her place in this world?

7. What was the hardest part about coming up with the setting?

Research for sure!

8. Is there anything about the setting that produced a major change in your character throughout the story?

Not that I think so.

9. Did you base your setting off of any place in particular?

Yes, my story takes place in Connecticut and New York.
